We do return messages as soon as possible, if you are unlucky and get the recording. If you do not get called back as soon as you would like: Please know that there are only so many hours in a day, and we are trying to handle the calls as best that we can. If you have not been called back in 48 hours then it is a reasonable bet that we just do not have the date and or time that you requested and can not return all calls for dates already booked.
WE ALSO ROLL FOR THREE DAYS AFTER CHRISTMAS. Don't let your holiday end with the opening of gifts. Take a ride after Christmas.. USE THAT NEW CAMERA...
All our vehicles are decked out for the season with lights and costumed drivers.
Carriages seat 4 comfortably, 6 is possible, but may not be comfortable.(This will depend on the size of those riding) The wagon seats 12. Try to plan your ride with the idea that it is to be fun and safe. Children 2 yrs and younger are lap children, those 30 pounds and over are not lap children.
For those of who who want an exception to the passenger limit-- You know who you are!!
Here's a list of what is possible:
On a carriage you might have:
Two turtle doves, three French hens, And a Partridge in a Pear Tree. That = 6 (the pear tree might present some difficulty)
You might try: Six Geese-a-Laying, but any eggs found would not be considered a gratuity and must be cleaned out before the next ride..
You may not try Three French Hens, Four Calling Birds, even if they are sitting quietly with the Partridge in a Pear Tree because you see that = 8 and the ABSOLUTE limit is 6

We provide blankets on the carriages, but not on the wagon. Christmas music is in all vehicles. Caroling is encouraged, and we may make you sing a chorus of "Grandma got run over by a reindeer" so bring a good mood. Those who are "Grinchy" may wind up wearing the foam rubber antlers!!
If you are riding on a carriage please arrive 10 minutes prior to your ride time so that we may get you seated on your carriage. Those riding on the wagon should allow for about 15 minutes or more for boarding.
We have a no beverage abuse policy. That means that you are welcome to bring the beverage of your choosing, BUT: you must drink it; NOT WEAR IT!!! All beverages must be in a cup with a lid. If you are bringing hot chocolate or wine pour it before getting on your carriage.
Rides are booked on a first come basis. Some days are already fully booked. I personally think that weeknight rides are better because we have less traffic. One thing is sure, if you wait too long you may not get a ride as we are booking up quickly.
We are reservation only.(credit card required) We operate on a 10 day NO CANCELLATION policy. Cancellations for emergencies etc. are at the sole discretion of Belle Starre Carriages. If we cancel a nights rides, for inclement weather or safety conditions, you will be contacted by phone on the day of the ride and no charges will apply. NO SHOWS WILL BE CHARGED THE FULL PRICE OF YOUR RESERVATION.
We will roll in any weather that is safe. This includes a light rain as the carriages all have convertable tops.
Please make sure that the phone number for contacting you is good for the day of your ride.

Do not ask if you can have more than the "6" passenger limit. There are NO exceptions!
We will not bump someone from their ride time because you will pay more!
